The Dobbs Ferry PTSA is a 100% volunteer-run organization, working together with the Dobbs Ferry School District to enhance the educational experience of every student.  The mission of the PTSA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.


Membership is open to everyone who believes in the mission and purposes of the PTA.  We collaborate with the district to fulfill this mission by advocating for the needs of the students on all levels, and by helping to support and fund programs that enrich the school curriculum.  Our many initiatives include conceptualizing and implementing programs and services, fundraising for events and enrichment, and supporting the schools to help them bring some of their programs to life.

By joining and volunteering your time to the DFPTSA you become a member of a parent community with a shared passion for helping to provide a quality education and a nurturing environment for every child. Together we are the most powerful voice for our children.

MANY THANKS! We appreciate your ongoing support this past year. Our Used Book Sale, Harlem Wizards event, Pumpkin Fair, and Spirit Wear pop-up sale raised some much-needed funds. And thank you to Outdoor Classroom chair Sara Sellitti for donating Springhurst Garden produce to the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry and to SPRING Community Partners for all their generous efforts with the Pantry too.
